Electrical: 120 VAC, 15 amps Standard Unit Weight: 70 lbs Features/Benefits: Retractable Nozzle System Two Nozzles extend in front of the seal bars during Vacuum and Gas Flush operations. A high-speed retraction cylinder retracts the nozzles for seal bar closure. Retracting Nozzles facilitate bag placement with large or bulky products. This also virtually eliminates operator manipulation of the bag during the vacuum cycle. Stainless Steel Nozzles The Retractable System comes standard with two High Vacuum Flow Rate Nozzles. Stainless Steel is more durable and easier to clean than plastic nozzles. Two nozzles make it possible to do two smaller bags in a single cycle thus increasing productivity. Upper & Lower Heating Elements Dual Nichrome 1/4" Heating Elements. During the seal cycle heat enters bag material for top and bottom allowing for faster sealing and better seal integrity on tough materials like Tyvek and Barrier Foil. Solid State Timers All vacuum, gas flush, seal and dwell funcitons on the GVS machines are controlled by solid state timers featuring easily adjusted variable ranges. Solid State Timers allow for a high degree of accuracy during the Vacuum / Purge and Seal / Dwell stages. Variable ranges allow for extra long vacuum and purge settings. Venturi Vacuum Pump GVS machines use a simple yet powerful Venture Pump with no moving or electrical parts. The Venturi Pump, with no moving parts, is very quiet during the vacuum cycle. The Venturi is perfect for use with products that contain abrasive residue or a high moisture content. Pneumatic Safety System This system utilizes both electric and electric / pneumatic microswitches to prevent the seal jaws from closing on unwanted objects. Operator Safety is the prime concern of all Sunbelt's Equipment. This system releases the sealing bar before locking down when a finger or hand is present between the seal bars.
